I’m a photographer based in Des Moines, Iowa. I’ve lived here my whole life and picked up a camera because I was drawn to capturing real moments, things you can look back on and feel like you’re there again. I started with landscapes and long exposures, then moved into senior photos, and eventually weddings. Now, I focus on weddings, engagements, seniors, and families, but I also love photographing everyday moments, family hanging out, traveling, and shooting on film.

Outside of photography, I’m a project manager for a web development and marketing company Blue Compass. When I’m not working or shooting, I’m probably spending time with my wife, cooking, listening to music, or spending time with family. I also love a good sunset and will never turn down Mexican food.
